For those interested in giving of their time and talents, Temple Israel offers many avenues.  In addition to service as a Temple officer or a member of the Board of Directors, which meets on the third Monday evening of the month, there are many worthwhile committees and special projects in need of support.

Temple Israel encourages all congregants to become actively involved in a project or activity suitable to their spiritual well being.  Such personal involvement ultimately benefits the entire congregation.  New congregants are especially encouraged to express their areas of interest and to get involved as soon as possible as a way to meet other members and form warm friendships.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

There are many wonderful opportunites to get involved at Temple Israel, so many enriching ways to participate in life at our multi-faceted synagogue. Please check the areas below that interest you, return this sheet at Shabbat Services, to a Temple Israel staff member, or at the temple office and we will see that you get plugged into your areas of interest.  Remember, participation is fun for you - and can be helpful to your synagogue.
