Organized in 1965, the Women of Temple Israel (formerly known as Temple Israel Sisterhood) now includes more than 100 members. The Women of Temple Israel promotes friendship among its members as well as supporting the highest ideals of Judaism and furthering the goals of Temple Israel.

The Women of Temple Israel sponsors various religious, social and educational activities, including at least two general membership meetings each year. One of their special projects is the Judaica Shop, which provides our members and the community with many different Jewish religious materials and artifacts. They also organize the weekly Oneg Shabbat, the Congregational Passover second night Seder and many other activities of service to the congregation.
